Plymouth Conservation Commission issues negative determinations and emergency seawall approval

Plymouth Conservation Commission approves emergency seawall repairs and advances multiple applications. The Commission voted 6-0 to authorize emergency repairs at seawalls spanning 207, 211, and 217 Manomet Avenue after coastal storm damage, and voted 7-0 to authorize Conservation Staff to approve future emergency requests without full Commission review. Separately, the Commission voted 7-0 to issue a negative determination for beach stair repairs at 2 Cape Cod Avenue E, and 5-2 to approve a home addition and septic system at 24 Kennedy Parkway with bi-weekly monitoring and one-year blueberry restoration.
A post facto shoreline project at 23 Oar and Line Road received conditional approval across four votes, including a required Beach Management Plan. Four pending applications—at 164 Court Street, 154 Morgan Road, 26 Driftwood Lane, and 26 Hog Rock Road—were continued to dates in April and May. The Commission also voted unanimously to issue an enforcement order for unpermitted wetland filling and tree cutting at 166 Ellisville Road.
