Plymouth Conservation Commission approves remediation order and coastal home project. Vice-Chair Walter Morrison, III oversaw approval of Orders of Conditions for emergency removal of petroleum-impacted soil at 55 Provincetown View Road, where approximately 40 gallons of fuel spilled during delivery and roughly 88 cubic yards of soil were excavated and removed, with closure documented to the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection. The Commission also approved a 12-by-26-foot residential addition at 98 Lake View Boulevard, granting waivers for buffer-zone work and requiring a revised vegetative mitigation plan meeting a 2:1 ratio.
Both approvals included perpetual special conditions prohibiting fertilizer, herbicide, and pesticide use within 100 feet of wetland resource areas.
