Conservation Commission approves trail project at Spring Lane with wetland protections

Plymouth Conservation Commission approves Spring Lane all-abilities trail and three related projects. Nate Cristofori of the Division of Natural Resources presented the 14-acre town-owned walking trail project, which includes comprehensive site cleanup and requires no chemical de-icing, with conditions to prevent public trespass onto abutting property; the project received a $100,000 grant. The Commission also unanimously approved a retaining wall replacement at 227 R Carver Road requiring native seed mix, retaining wall reconstruction at 331 Billington Street with vegetated buffers, and a Determination of Applicability for deck pile installation at 127 G Taylor Avenue using helical piles with biodegradable hydraulic fluid.
A Certificate of Compliance was issued for the Plymouth Area Coalition for the Homeless facility at 54 Industrial Park Road, and the Commission accepted the Gilmore Cranberry Company Bogs into its custody as open space.
