PLYMOUTH — May 6, 2026 — Plymouth Board of Health votes new food re-inspection fees and denies mobile home park waiver. The board voted 5-0 Wednesday to approve a tiered re-inspection fee schedule for food establishments — $100 for a first re-inspection, $250 for a second (with a mandatory owner appearance before the board), and $1,000 for a third, which also triggers required closure and a corrective plan — a proposal Public Health Director Karen said addresses a gap in cost recovery that has been drawing down the division's operating budget. The board separately voted 5-0 to deny a waiver request from Long Pond Village mobile home park operator Mr. Nibor, who sought relief from the annual community-rules submission required by 940 CMR Section 10.11; staff told the board it has no authority to waive a state regulation. A parallel request to forgo pest control documentation was resolved by accepting a letter from a professional the operator had already retained.
