Planning Board · Meeting of October 28, 2026

PLYMOUTH — Planning Board recommended ZBA approval of a 186-unit senior living community on Court Street. The board voted 5-0, with member Bennett recused, to back the project at 179 Court Street, with conditions including enclosed trash areas, bollards at entrances, phased construction and exploring a raised crosswalk on Nelson Street. Seamus Joyce of HYM Investment Group said the plan provides 220 parking spaces against 219 required, plus 21 residential units that would all count toward the town's affordable housing inventory.

Piappi's Package Store owner Peter Balboni told the board the plan "violates Piappi's leased area." An applicant representative said the 85-foot figure is a roof-peak elevation, about 62 feet above average grade.
