Planning Board · Meeting of August 12, 2026

PLYMOUTH — The Planning Board approved a special permit for a four-unit subdivision at 7 High Cliff with Village Open Space preservation. Vice Chair Timothy Grandy and Clerk Carl Donaldson voted to approve Case PB-692, with conditions including a pedestrian access easement to the North Plymouth Rail Trail, tree buffers, and street trees; Clerk Pro-Tem Tim Bennett recused himself, leaving a 4-0 vote. The Board also unanimously released 17 lots for two Agawam Development LLC projects and voted 4-0, with Clerk Pro-Tem Tim Bennett abstaining, to approve a lot line adjustment for Philip Carbo.

The Board heard a presentation from the Plymouth Affordable Housing Trust, which has approximately 574,000 dollars available, and discussed collaboration on future affordable housing projects. Staff presented research on data center regulation; the Board agreed a one-year moratorium is adequate for study and will submit a placeholder article for fall town meeting.
