PLYMOUTH — The Plymouth Planning Board unanimously approved a special permit and subdivision for four new homes at 7 High Cliff. Attorney Robert Bell, representing applicant Riverview Properties LLC, won approval for the Village Open Space Development with conditions requiring street trees, a pedestrian easement to a 3.11-acre open space parcel slated for the Wildlands Trust, and a continuous landscaped buffer along the widened roadway. Engineer Chris Sanderson of Merrill Engineers and Land Surveyors said the project meets fire department hammerhead-turnaround standards and a 25-year storm drainage threshold.
Separately, the Plymouth Housing Trust reported $574,421.19 on hand plus $1,158,828 anticipated, with vice chair Art DeLogis asking the board to study raising the town's 10 percent inclusionary zoning rate toward Boston's "14, 16 percent." The board also directed staff to file a placeholder warrant article by Friday for a one-year data center moratorium, with member Grandy saying, "we should get this moratorium, we should move forward with that."
