Airport Commission Approves Three Building Projects and Noise Abatement Plan

Plymouth Airport Commission approves three construction projects and accepts noise abatement proposal. The Commission authorized Chairman Kenneth Fosdick to sign an agreement for the Elks Club building pending attorney approval and granted final approval for the Boy Scouts Camporee scheduled May 1 through May 3. Goulian Aviation received approval for office construction in its hangar in a 4-0-1 vote, with Commissioner Karin Goulian abstaining.
The Commission accepted a voluntary noise abatement proposal from Alpha One owner Chris Hyldburg to be measured and reviewed regularly. Acting Manager Brendan Nordahl reported 22 noise complaints in March from nine complainants; all were investigated and none violated federal, state, or local regulations.
