Precinct 4 Caucus approves March minutes, hears Open Space presentation.

Precinct Meetings (All) · Meeting of April 6, 2026

PLYMOUTH — Precinct 4 Caucus votes to support tax title conveyance transferring five unbuildable parcels to Conservation Commission. Diane Peck, Vice Chair of the Open Space Committee, presented Article 23, detailing a $12,500 legal cost to protect lands currently held by the Town Treasurer; over 500 additional open space parcels remain unregistered and unprotected. Member Jad Osmanski reported that July 4 Plymouth Inc. faces a financial crisis after donations collapsed to only 52 contributors last year, requesting the caucus support a $50,000 Special Town Meeting appropriation.

The group unanimously endorsed charter amendments to move elections to mid-June and the Spring Annual Town Meeting to May, allowing budget-setting after state funding is determined.
