PLYMOUTH — Memorial Advisory Committee approves one memorial application and rejects three. Chair Alice Baker and the five-member committee unanimously approved the James Joseph Harris application while voting unanimously against applications from Isabel Gormley, Ashton Phillips, and Eugene D. Cobb as unqualified.
The committee directed Matthew Hernon to draft revisions to memorial policies and applications for next meeting review and authorized Chair Alice Baker to contact Town Manager Derek Brindisi regarding an inventory of existing memorials in Plymouth and formal correspondence procedures with applicants. The committee will further discuss medallions and other options for applicants who do not qualify.
