Plymouth's Zoning Board of Appeals continued a gas station and convenience store hearing to June 15. Attorney Bill Sims represented the developer, TL Edwards, Inc., in the special permit case. The board asked the applicant to explore relocating fueling facilities farther from an aquifer protection boundary that neighbors and the Jones River Watershed Association feared could threaten groundwater serving Kingston municipal wells.
The board also voted 4-1 to deny without prejudice a special permit for an accessory building requested by William Smith, finding the application's plans insufficiently detailed.
