Plymouth Select Board held a Town Hall on the Road meeting in Manomet at which Town Manager Derek Brindski announced a $3 million Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness grant to fund downtown sidewalk, stormwater, and tree improvements. The Water Street sewer project was announced to resume September 1 to complete a three-year effort. During the public question and answer session, residents raised concerns about drainage, speeding trucks from a nearby development, dust mitigation non-compliance, road paving, affordable housing, and intersection safety.
Alice Baker, Chair of the Manomet Village Steering Committee, requested replacement of faded safety signs on the Holtec property. Select Board Member Kevin Canty offered to follow up with Holtec. The Board voted 4-0 to adjourn.
