PLYMOUTH — Southern Plymouth County PHE Collaborative unanimously approved funding for hoarding disorder certification training. The committee voted August 27 to allocate $14,000 for seven employees from six towns to attend a 12-week Professional Certification in Community Hoarding Intervention Program at $2,000 each, and unanimously approved digital radon detectors for towns' "Library of Things Borrowed" program at estimated cost of $600 to $1,200. Unanimously reelected Barry Potvin as chair and Karen Keane as cochair for FY27.
The committee voted unanimously to rescind a $20,000 FY26 appropriation to Cape Cod Visiting Nurse Association after staff determined advance funding for future-year services violated grant rules.
