Plymouth Select Board rejected the Advisory and Finance Committee's proposed $213,000 Information Technology funding increase at its March 31 meeting, maintaining its original recommendation on Article 7 with a 4-0 vote under Vice Chair Richard Quintal's leadership. In separate Town Meeting motions, the Board unanimously backed police rear parking lot upgrades and downtown resiliency phase two improvements but split 3-1 on pedestrian lighting for a training green, with Selectman Bill Keohan opposed due to design concerns from the Historical Commission. The Board appointed members to four town committees: Dr.
Kathleen Babini, George McKay, and Margaret Scott to Plymouth 250 Commemoration; Jennifer Lynne Ehalt and Allen Giles to Climate Action Net Zero; and Tamao Buffalo-Ellis and Dr. Srinivasan Mukundan Jr. to Plymouth for All. The Board voted to establish a Facilities Working Group tasked with examining municipal building management and issuing a professional consultant RFP, reporting results by end of July.
