PLYMOUTH — Select Board recommends warrant articles on conservation and budgets. Plymouth's Select Board on September 1 voted to recommend multiple Town Meeting articles including a $750,000 conservation project near Buttermilk Bay leveraging $5 million in outside funding and approval of a $2.9 million snow and ice deficit through state aid and municipal transfers. The board voted 4-1 to recommend reducing the Visitor's Center capital appropriation to $178,000, with Selectman David Golden Jr. dissenting.
Appointments included Nancy Elizabeth Feeney and Connor O'Dwyer to the Affordable Housing Trust and Chris Moore to the Capital Improvements Committee. The board also heard disclosure of 44 unrecorded land-use restrictions from CPC projects dating to 2003 and a new policy requiring proof of recorded restrictions before fund disbursement.
