Select Board · Meeting of May 26, 2026

Plymouth Select Board approved major conservation and policy decisions at its May 26 meeting. The board unanimously signed a conservation restriction on the 19.5-acre Beaver Dam Preserve with Wildlands Trust, protecting state-designated wildlife habitat and portions of the Plymouth-Carver sole source aquifer. In a 4-1 vote, the board approved a Temporary Commercial Sign Permit Policy with a $50 annual fee, requiring a five-foot clear sidewalk path and a 15-foot intersection buffer; David M.

Golden Jr. was the sole dissenter, citing concerns that requirements would exclude downtown businesses. Nicholas Bryant was appointed to the Conservation Commission for a term expiring June 30, 2028. The board voted 3-2 to continue its Town Hall on the Road program with meetings held on Tuesday evenings, with Chair Deborah Iaquinto, Selectman Kevin B.

Canty, and Selectman William J. Keohan supporting the Tuesday night schedule.
