Select Board · Meeting of August 11, 2026
PLYMOUTH — The Plymouth Select Board voted 3-2 to adopt a civil conduct policy for elected and appointed officials, addressing recent incidents of incivility. Chair Deb Iaquinto, Vice Chair Richard Quintal Jr., and Board Member Bill Keohan voted yes; Board Members Kevin Canty and David Golden Jr. voted no; Canty cited procedural flaws including anonymous complaints and lack of guaranteed third-party review, while Golden expressed concern the policy could chill free speech. The board separately voted unanimously to approve aquaculture licenses for Matt Nickerson and William Morani and to advance a warrant article shifting demolition delay review to the Historical Commission, and voted 4-1 to request $300,000 for legal and survey work for potential town acceptance of six Shallow Pond Estates roads.
