Plymouth Airport Commission approved revised State Police Hangar lease language at its September 3 meeting. Vice Chairman Tom Hurley moved to accept the language changes based on recommendations from Attorney Galvin, with Commissioner Chris Merrill seconding; the motion passed unanimously 7-0. Acting Manager Brendan Nordahl reported 25 noise complaints during August from 10 different complainants, none of which violated federal, state or local regulations, prompting Chairman Paul Worcester to propose a workshop on the issue.
The commission learned that Runway 06-24 reconstruction would force a full airport shutdown from approximately September 21 through October 1.
