PLYMOUTH — Retirement Board approves new hires, retirements, and investment rebalancing. Chairman Thomas Kelley and board members Lynne Barrett, Dale Webber, Robert Ness, and Sharon LaRosa unanimously approved six new permanent full-time employees (four town, two school) and eight superannuation retirements totaling more than 150 years of combined creditable service. Investment adviser Anthony Tranghese presented the Pension Plan's April 2026 performance of positive 3.6 percent against a blended benchmark of positive 4.6 percent, total market value $302.75 million; the board unanimously authorized a dollar-cost averaging rebalancing strategy investing $5.65 million monthly through September 2026.
Executive Director Wendy Cherry reported the board is exploring a new independent auditor after the current firm, CBIZ, delayed delivery of the final Financial Statement for December 31, 2024.
