Plymouth Recycling Committee opens Swap Shop on May 9 with 50 mobilized volunteers. Chair Ken Stone reported most volunteers are already town-certified, with approximately 10 awaiting final certification; volunteers will also distribute compost literature at the transfer station. The committee designated organics and food waste collection as its second priority after the shop launches, and plans outreach at Town Meeting on April 11.
The Fix It Clinic is set for April 4 at Plymouth Library with Newton volunteers; the committee noted capacity constraints with waiting lists for certain repair professionals and items like clocks and watches.
