PLYMOUTH — Precinct 4 caucus members discussed warrant articles for October Town Meeting, including a zoning proposal to address industrial land destruction. Seven members attended the September 30 meeting. David Peck spoke for Michelle Christensen regarding Article 24, which would require Special Permit review of clustered industrial buildings.
The Planning Board voted unanimously for the amended article, but the Moderator, Select Board, and town legal counsel KP Law oppose it. The caucus also heard a presentation from Tim Shobbrook and Michael Hertz on Article 8, requesting $300,000 for road title research to enable the town to accept and maintain Shallow Pond roads. Caucus members expressed consensus that Articles 24, 25, and 26 deserve Town Meeting discussion.
