PLYMOUTH — Precinct 15 discussed a citizen's petition to expand town steering committees from five to seven. Anthony Mayo, a Manoment Steering Committee member, presented Article 26, which aims to add committees for Pinehills and Redbrook and increase each committee's membership from six to seven. The Advisory and Finance Committee voted unanimously against the article, citing concerns about language and wanting more community discussion.
During the precinct discussion, Michael Hanlon asked whether other committees had been consulted; Mayo said they had not. Patty Dysart suggested "citizen's advisory committee" as a better term.
