Plymouth School Committee approves $133.1M budget for FY27

Plymouth School Committee approves $133.1 million FY27 operating budget. Superintendent Dr. Christopher Campbell presented the budget as aligned with the district's core values and designed to maintain support for students, staff, and programs.

The committee voted 5-0 to approve the budget, with member Ashley Shaw abstaining. Committee members also unanimously approved a new grant-funded BRYT Counselor position across four secondary schools to work with students with severe mental health needs following hospital stays, and approved two out-of-town and international field trips for Plymouth South High School, including a Broadway trip in March 2026 and a French fine arts journey in April 2027.
