Plymouth Retirement Board approves new hires, retirements, and pension warrants.

Plymouth Retirement Board approved ten new municipal employees and four superannuation retirements in unanimous votes Friday. Chairman Thomas Kelley, joined by Executive Director Wendy Cherry and members Lynne Barrett, Dale Webber, Robert Ness, and Sharon LaRosa, processed ten new hires across town departments (administrative, paralegal, equipment operator) and schools (custodians, paraeducators, cook). The board also approved pension payment warrants totaling $2.88 million.
Investment advisor Anthony Tranghese reported the pension fund at $304.9 million with one-year performance of plus 10.4 percent; the OPEB fund ended 2025 at $19.3 million with plus 15.9 percent one-year gain.
