The town announced Friday, Aug. 14, through its official News Flash alert system that the Crossover is open for vehicle access. The notice clears the way for residents and visitors holding oversand vehicle permits to resume driving onto the beach via the Crossover, a routine but closely watched seasonal update for Plymouth's beachgoing community during the height of summer.
