Planning Board · Meeting of May 27, 2026

Plymouth Planning Board heard a conceptual redevelopment proposal for 179 Court Street featuring senior living, mixed-use residential, and retail, with an estimated 800,000 dollars in annual tax revenue, during an informal joint presentation with steering committees. HYM Investment Group, partnering with NexCore Group and Experience Senior Living, described plans for 184 senior units plus two mixed-use buildings with ground-floor retail, public open space, and approximately 200 parking spaces. The board unanimously endorsed a town grant application to modernize the inclusionary housing bylaw and approved three Form A lot line adjustments unanimously.

A public hearing on Redbrook Use Area 17, a proposed 19-unit affordable multifamily building, drew resident opposition over parking, traffic, and density concerns and was continued to the next meeting; a companion hearing on Use Area 18, proposing 54 market-rate homes, was also continued.
