Plymouth Historical Commission backs owner responsibility for Warren Avenue fisherman shacks

Plymouth Historical Commission delegates fisherman shacks problem to owners and Select Board. Chair Bill Fornaciari, Vice Chair Peggy Baker, Dr. Anne Mason, Liz Pretorius, and Alternate Member David Furlow voted unanimously to write a letter to the Select Board stating that while the Warren Avenue shacks have historic value dating to before 1891, responsibility for preserving or removing them should fall on the private owners.
The Commission also voted unanimously to name Doug Ozelius as its representative to the Plymouth 250 Commemoration Committee and discussed taking over enforcement of the Town's demolition delay bylaw from the Historic District Commission.
