Plymouth Historical Commission approves prior minutes, reviews oral history project.

Plymouth Historical Commission unanimously approved prior minutes and endorsed a North Plymouth oral history initiative focused on the Plymouth Cordage Company and its workers. Suzanne Stewart, the project organizer, said the timeline is urgent given the age of surviving workers; she has completed two test interviews and seeks Commission guidance on format, interviewees, and final hosting. Historic Resources Coordinator Connor Anderson reported that Local Seen may assist with filming and hosting if the town sponsors the project, and suggested expanding it into a neighborhood-wide oral history series.
The Commission expressed full support and offered assistance. In related business, an article will appear on the Fall Annual Town Meeting warrant to transfer Demolition Delay Bylaw enforcement from the Historic District Commission to the Historical Commission.
