Plymouth Historical Commission accepts glass plate negatives, backs preservation plan funding.

Plymouth Historical Commission unanimously supports 85 thousand dollar preservation plan article. Chair Bill Fornaciari and Vice Chair Peggy Baker oversaw approval of a letter backing Article 25 for the 2026 Spring Town Meeting, which seeks Community Preservation Act funding for a townwide Historic Preservation Plan designed to guide preservation efforts for ten to fifteen years. The Commission also unanimously accepted a donation of 131 glass plate negatives and 104 photographic prints from Craig and Rita Webber, believed to have belonged to photographer Charles F.
Sherman. In procedural action, members restructured meeting dates to the first and third Tuesdays of each month, replacing the previous every-other-Tuesday schedule.
