Plymouth Center Steering Committee reorganized Thursday, electing Harrison Quinn as Chair, Yara Montminy as Vice Chair, and Andrea Davis as Clerk. Sgt. Rob Shaw of Plymouth Police reported on July Fourth events, noting that approximately 13 arrests occurred after fireworks and that a 20-minute parade delay resulted from an ambulance call to the Dialysis Center at Cordage Park; Shaw suggested either more ambulances along the route or better driver familiarity with the area.
Bill Keohan, Select Board Member, reported that the former Benny's development project has signed a Letter of Understanding with the town but must appear before Planning and Zoning Boards; the committee agreed that proposed changes to steering committee review processes would reduce public input and be detrimental to the town.
