Plymouth Adopts New Civil Conduct Policy For Public Meetings

PLYMOUTH — The Town of Plymouth this week introduced a new Civil Conduct Policy, calling on officials and residents alike to keep Town Meetings and public events courteous and respectful.

A Community Report from the town's Chair, posted to Plymouth's official News Flash feed Friday, formalizes new expectations for how officials and the public interact on town business. The report states that Plymouth "has always valued civil discourse" and expects elected and appointed officials, as well as members of the public attending Town Meetings and other town events, to engage "in a courteous, respectful and constructive way."
