Plymouth 250 Commemoration Committee unanimously approves historic rack card subcommittee. Chair Patrick Browne and Vice Chair Donna Curtin led the 18-member panel in green-lighting a five-person subcommittee including Browne, Thomas Begley, Curtin, William Keohan, and Keiko Orrall to design and produce cards highlighting Revolutionary War sites and figures, modeled on Boston's Freedom Trail. The committee also finalized plans for a June 27th Town Square event featuring the Declaration of Independence read in sections by a new citizen, a Herring Pond Wampanoag Tribe member, high school students, a Revolutionary War descendant, a current veteran, and a reenactor, with Town Square blocked from noon to 3:00 PM.
Plymouth will also participate in a national synchronized Declaration reading on July 8th.
