Plymouth 250 Commemoration Committee elects leadership and sets meeting schedule. The 17-member committee unanimously elected Patrick Browne as Chair and Donna Curtin as Vice Chair and voted to convene on the first Monday and third Wednesday of each month. The Visitor Services Board has appropriated 75,000 dollars to the committee.
A six-member sub-committee including Kathleen Babini, Tamao Buffalo-Ellis, Donna Curtin, Terah Harootunian, William Keohan, and Susan Ste. Marie will plan an official Declaration of Independence reading ceremony in Town Square in late June, with discussions of incorporating a Liberty Pole and student participation.
