PLYMOUTH — Planning Board approves open space subdivision at 243 Sandwich Street. Chair Steven Bolotin and Vice Chair Timothy Grandy led the board to a 4-1 approval of a Village Open Space Development Special Permit for the Butterfield Family Living Trust, subdividing a 1.3-acre parcel into two residential lots and one protected open space parcel. The permit includes a waiver reducing the existing home's front setback from 20 feet to 16 feet.
Frank Mand opposed the motion, citing concerns that the proposal does not align with the intent of the Village Open Space Development bylaw. Staff member Lauren Lind reported no significant concerns and noted a draft decision recommending approval had been prepared subject to standard conditions.
