Planning Board · Meeting of June 24, 2026

Plymouth Planning Board received a consultant's 15-recommendation study to strengthen industrial areas and support economic development. Tim Czerwienski of Beals Associates presented proposals including zoning amendments to reduce setbacks and special permit requirements in the Light Industrial Building Height Overlay District, eliminate floor area ratio requirements, permit rooftop mechanical equipment, and allow mixed-use industrial-office-laboratory buildings. Board members stressed the recommendations require extensive public discussion and zoning bylaw amendments before implementation.

The Board also unanimously approved committee appointments and reappointments, including Christopher Smith as Planning Board Associate Member, Virginia Davis and Bruce Howard to Land Use and Acquisition, and members to six steering committees across town neighborhoods.
