PLYMOUTH — Planning Board unanimously adopts comprehensive master plan, Plymouth's first in 20 years. Chair Steven Bolotin and four other Board members voted 5-0 to approve the document following a Stantec presentation on its community-driven recommendations for housing affordability, open space preservation, downtown revitalization, and environmental protection. Board member Frank Mand raised concerns about omitted state environmental datasets and the plan's treatment of climate resilience, though Stantec and Director of Planning Lauren Lind noted these themes are integrated throughout and can be further developed during the 10-year implementation phase.
Vice Chair Timothy Grandy, Tim Bennett, and Christopher Smith emphasized that execution through coordinated town-board action will determine the plan's real-world impact.
