Open Space Committee approves warrant articles, takes no interest in two tax-title parcels

PLYMOUTH — The Plymouth Open Space Committee voted down two tax-title parcels while advancing nine warrant articles to Spring Town Meeting. Chair Stephanie Silva's committee rejected a 1.15-acre parcel off Justine Road and again declined a 6.28-acre wetlands property on White Island Pond, though it voted to recommend any future sale preserve public access and protect wetlands at the pond. Committee member Steve Bolotin reported the Advisory and Finance Committee unanimously approved all nine OSC-sponsored articles.
The committee requested $4,500 in next year's budget after the town deducted $1,000 from its current Open Space allocation for printing the 2024-2034 Open Space and Recreation Plan.
