Plymouth Open Space Committee approved approximately $536 in spending for trails and native plant outreach. The committee, chaired by Stephanie Silva, allocated $436 to the Trails Working Group for two benches, camera locks to combat trail vandalism, and volunteer t-shirts, plus $100 for native plant education handouts. Committee member Patrick Farah reported that four of 22 tax title properties under review faced barriers to conservation — one lacks clear title, another is landlocked and undevelopable, and a third falls under Select Board highway jurisdiction — leaving 18 parcels still pending evaluation for Fall Town Meeting warrant submission.
Massachusetts Audubon has expressed interest in acquiring two tax title parcels on Heather Drive adjacent to Tidmarsh.
