PLYMOUTH — The Plymouth Open Space Committee voted unanimously to elect Stephanie Silva as Chair, with Diane Peck as Vice-Chair and Lois Post as Secretary. The committee recommended three tax-title properties for conservation at Town Meeting: a 15-acre Bourne Road parcel in the Pine Barrens, plus parcels on Arboretum Road and Brentwood Circle. A third property on Philips Circle, complicated by drainage structures and traffic, was referred to the Land Use Advisory Committee for further study.
Committee members also reported on a June 13 invasive plant removal training led by state botanist Karro Frost, and noted strong attendance at a Garden Tour held the same day.
