PLYMOUTH — The Little Red Schoolhouse Committee unanimously approved a rental fee waiver for Guitars for Vets, a national organization providing free guitar lessons to veterans and their families. The program will use the facility for one and one-half hours on Monday evenings for ten weeks during the summer, with participants receiving a free guitar at program conclusion. Chairperson Frank McKenna will draft correspondence to the Select Board, with committee member Bill Keohan's assistance, formalizing the arrangement.
The committee also approved prior meeting minutes and heard updates on an upcoming blood drive scheduled for June 27 and Plymouth 250 commemorative activities.
