Legislative Oversight reviews 193 open Town Meeting articles; coordinator reports robust departmental response.

Legislative Oversight Committee · Meeting of April 9, 2026

PLYMOUTH — Legislative Oversight Committee approved its agenda and minutes, then received an update on 193 open Town Meeting articles under review. Kristin Ford, CPC/COPC Coordinator, reported that twenty-four department heads were asked April 7 to submit updates on their articles, with twenty responding comprehensively by the meeting date. Ford emphasized that when articles close and funds return, the money reverts to its original appropriation source rather than becoming available for general town budget use.

The committee plans to develop a presentation for the June 18 Committee of Precinct Chairs meeting.
