PLYMOUTH — The Plymouth Land Use and Acquisition Committee, meeting jointly with the Open Space Committee, approved prior minutes and reviewed the status of the PA Landers property, for which the town received a Chapter 61A Notice of Intent to Sell. Chair Hampton Watkins outlined the committee's earlier recommendations to the Select Board on the Landers Farm Road parcels and confirmed that the town had rejected the initial notice, with a new deadline of August 14th to exercise the right of first refusal. Watkins noted that H.4501, a charter amendment enacted in May 2026, expands LUAC's scope of properties for which it may make recommendations and changes the committee's appointing authorities.
The next meeting is scheduled for May 20th, 2026.
