Plymouth Historical Commission unanimously supported a proposed Town Meeting article to transfer Demolition Delay Bylaw authority from the Historic District Commission to the Historical Commission. Connor Anderson, Historic Resources Coordinator, presented the measure, which passed 5-0. Chair Bill Fornaciari warned he would likely resign if the transfer proceeds, citing a conflict of interest stemming from his work as an architect presenting demolitions.

The Commission also approved prior meeting minutes, reviewed progress on multiple historical projects including a Plymouth 250 ceremony planned for August 7 at Memorial Hall, and received staff updates on existing conditions surveys for the Little Red Schoolhouse and interpretive signage for Freedom Memorial Cemetery, scheduled to open spring or summer 2027.
