PLYMOUTH — The Historical Commission elevated the Historic Date Board Program as its top public outreach priority. Taylor O'Neil, Town of Plymouth Communications Coordinator, outlined a strategy involving press releases, social media promotion, and a proposed community kick-off event offered by Alternate Member David Furlow at his Carver Street residence. The commission also refined its Townwide Inventory survey to add a field for private collectors and decided to explore a PVC version of date boards for homeowners outside the Historic District, while planning a ceremony honoring Revolutionary War veterans from the Parting Ways settlement, tentatively scheduled for October 18.
