Plymouth Historical Commission unanimously elects new leadership and adopts monthly meeting schedule. Bill Forniciari was voted Chair and Peggy Baker Vice Chair in a 6-0 vote, while the Commission voted unanimously to hold regular meetings on the first Tuesday of each month. The Commission outlined ten major goals including updating the MACRIS database of historic properties, developing a Historic House Marker Program with plaques costing approximately $75 each, installing historically accurate materials in Spooner's Alley, and implementing a town-wide Historic Preservation Plan pending approval at Spring 2026 Town Meeting.
Everett Malaguti, Vice Chair of the Visitor Services Board, expressed interest in collaborating on downtown wayfinding and signage standardization.
