PLYMOUTH — Historic District Commission approves solar roof color, continues design work. The commission unanimously endorsed a Cambridge Black roof for the Trinity Solar project at 11.5 Howland Street and voted to continue the formal hearing to April 8 to review revised conduit placement and panel layout markups. Two properties seeking demolition-delay determinations were unanimously found "not historically significant": the Deascentis property at 27 Central and Sheridan Properties at 783 State Road.
In informal presentations, the Plymouth Visitors Center expansion at 130 Water Street received commentary on roofline aesthetics, Kingston Signarama signage plan was reviewed under a 30 percent window-coverage rule, and the Department of Public Works received unanimous support for a certificate of non-applicability to rehab Spooner Way with existing town granite inventory.
