PLYMOUTH — Historic District Commission approves signage at the Drew Hotel. The commission voted 7-0 (with one abstention by Ryan Vayo) to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness for signage at 3 Chilton Street limited to six square feet. Two formal hearing cases—Lydia Robertson's exterior alteration at 46 Summer Street and Ion Bulmaga's Lash Boutique awning at 17 Main Street—were continued to July 8.
In informal discussions, architect Pat Fisher presented plans to convert an 1913 building at 8 Carver Street into nine residential condos with Pella Historic windows and preserved stained glass, while the Mayflower Society outlined ADA-compliant renovations at 19 Town Square including a new entrance. The commission unanimously determined the Merrill Engineering property at 41 Harmony Lane not historically significant.
