PLYMOUTH — Historic District Commission recommends fee schedule to Select Board for first time. Deputy Director Michael Silveira proposed $50 for certificates of appropriateness, $100 for demolition delay initial determinations, and additional $100 for hearings on historically significant properties, with no fees for certificates of non-applicability and hardship; Vice Chair Anne Mason opposed, citing burden on property owners already paying Inspectional Services fees, and the Commission voted 5 to 1 to recommend the schedule with temporary signs exempted. The Commission also reviewed revisions to the Plymouth Historic District Design Review Guidelines spearheaded by Chair Michael Tubin and Dr.
Mason with consultant Eric Dray, identifying the Temporary Sign Permit Policy and Historical Commission date board program as items requiring incorporation into updated guidelines.
