PLYMOUTH — Earth Removal Bylaw Committee advances working outline through linguistic and regulatory refinement. All nine members present continued the line-by-line review, agreeing to replace "incidental" with "necessary" and maintain the five-acre open excavation limit. Committee member Ed Conroy raised concern that the existing Unified Complex bylaw is not subject to the new bylaw but should be, though a Citizens Petition would be required.
Planning and Development sent the Consultant Request for Qualifications to nine firms on June 1st with a June 17th response deadline; interviews begin June 25th, with two Committee members joining staff from the Planning Board and Planning and Development.
