PLYMOUTH — The Distinguished Visitors Committee approved prior minutes and confirmed July hotel reservations for the Plymouth Delegation to Shichigahama. Chair Kelly McElreath secured 10 rooms at Hotel 1620 for six nights from July 29 through August 3 under a contract signed by the hotel and town. Committee members discussed a Rotary project to place a peace pole at Town Hall honoring the sister-city relationship, planning for the 15th anniversary of the March 11 tsunami, and middle school outreach efforts to identify student host families.

Matt Tavares requested a fund balance accounting from the Finance Department.
